Fun game to play on a second monitor.

I wish I had defensive upgrades, without affecting the balance of course. It doesn't feel nice to tank every projectile, I wish I had some sort of shield (magical or physical) that would make me feel I'm doing damage and dodging some enemy fire in the process. It would feel more satisfying. Maybe increase the enemy fire rate so the net DPS taken is the same, but it would "feel" better than taking every projectile to the face.

Still, cool game, good job!

Oh and there's a bug where some enemies would walk backwards.  Here's an image of a panther walking backwards. It mainly happens with some enemies on the right side of the screen. I'd say flip_h the image if  enemy.global_position.x> player.global_position.x. Hope it helps.

Thanks much for your feedback, very much appreciated!

I'm afraid I've not updated the build here in quite some time.  There is an issue with the web build I need to clear up.  I have it on my list to get it fixed and update the build here.

The game has changed and improved so much from the build you played here.  The demo is releasing on steam in a few days, March 9.  I've added a shield spell already for the demo.

Definintly check out the demo it is so much better, and the monster walking backwards thing has been solved as well.

Looks like I finally solved the web build issue.  I've just pushed the official demo build that will appear on Steam.  Hope you like it.

It looks very interesting, good take on the genre. I am waiting for the full release.

Thank you, appreciate it!

Seems like a good start, but there is a lot of lag.

Half to full second spikes every few seconds. Closed firefox and restarted with the same issue. Minimal processor/memory usage.

Thanks for letting my know.

The game run very smooth as just a regular application (which is the final intention).

Building it for web seemed like a nice way, however, maybe there are performance issues.  I will see if anything can be tweaked in the export process to have it behave better for the web version.
